Dr. Cedillo-Couvert is a fellowship-trained and board-certified nephrologist providing state-of-the-art kidney care. Trained in internal medicine as a resident at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, he went on to complete his nephrology fellowship training at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Following his fellowship, Dr. Cedillo-Couvert also served as a research fellow and clinical instructor at that institution.

Dr. Cedillo-Couvert earned his medical degree (physician-surgeon) from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) in Monterrey, Mexico, where he graduated with honors. After his internal medicine training in Chicago, he served as a hospitalist at various Texas hospitals, including serving as a clinical instructor for hospitalist fellows at Texas Tech Health Science Center in Odessa, TX.

His approach is characterized by compassion and a deep dedication to building trust and understanding with his patients. Dr. Cedillo-Couvert is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in nephrology and internal medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Society of Nephrology and the International Society of Nephrology.
