Dr. François Jo-Hoy, MD is a Board-Certified Nephrologist at South Texas Renal Care and the Medical Director at the USRC Maverick County Dialysis Facility in Eagle Pass, Texas.
He obtained his Medical Degree at the University of the West Indies Trinidad and Tobago. His residency was at the University of Florida and he obtained his fellowships in Nephrology and Critical Care at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. Currently, Jo-Hoy has his memberships with the American Medical Association, American Society of Nephrology, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
Dr. Jo-Hoy specializes in hypertension, Chronic Kidney Disease, home and inpatient dialysis, renal transplantation, and Critical Care nephrology in ICU. With more than 12 years of experience in treating patients facing some of the most serious kidney disease conditions, Dr. Jo-Hoy is passionate about establishing strong and open relationships with his patients and is committed to serving the Eagle Pass and Maverick County community with the highest standards of care.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Jo-hoy enjoys spending quality time with his family, playing tennis, and traveling to different places around the world.
