Raised in a family of doctors, Dr. Indraneel Mogarala (our patients like to call him "Dr. M.") was intrigued by science and research, even as a child. Once he began his medical education and training, he discovered a passion for not only helping people live healthier lives, but also finding permanent solutions to the painful and life-altering conditions they face.

Dr. Mogarala received his Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Manipal University, in Manipal, India. He completed his postgraduate training at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan and his fellowship in nephrology at University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas.

In addition, Dr. Mogarala is well trained in oncology-nephrology, with experience working with patients suffering from diseases that can have adverse effects on the functionality and health of the kidneys. He’s highly skilled in the management of glomerulonephritis, as well as kidney conditions in the events of trauma and cardiac transplant.

In Dr. Mogarala’s free time, he loves watching college basketball and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
